Gift for Grandpa from a Photo

Pick a shot that captures Grandpa – holding a fish on the bank of a pond, among the tools in his workshop, by the tomatoes in his garden or at a soccer game with a grandchild on his lap. In about 30 seconds, the app turns the photo into a coloring page and shows a free watermarked preview, so you see the result right away.

If you like it, unlock the A4 print version for 1 credit and print it at home or at a print shop.

The youngest grandkids, aged 2–5, can manage the Tiny Tot level, with big areas and bold lines they can color without precise hand control. Older kids aged 6–10 will enjoy the Schoolkid level, where the page captures details like the fishing rod, the fishing jacket or Grandpa's favorite tools in the workshop.

If several grandchildren are making the gift together, you can turn the same photo of Grandpa into both levels.

Take a photo of the colored picture, and the Colored In! feature turns it into a free animated card you can send to Grandpa's phone, even if he lives far away or the birthday party isn't happening in person. You can also have the artwork made into a poster for his workshop or garage, or a puzzle to put together on your next visit.

With the consent of your child and family, you can also add the picture to the public gallery of colored pages.

It's perfect for his birthday, his name day, Father's Day or no special occasion at all – say, after a summer vacation spent together at the cottage. If Grandpa lives far away, the animated card arrives within a minute, while a traditional gift would spend days in the mail.

We're currently preparing gift vouchers for this kind of gift, so soon you'll be able to give one in advance without having to choose the photo yourself.
